I like how you use the white space, but there lot of problems with the background in the columns and the color of the text, because it make a pain to try to read your news paper. I think you should change the background of the columns to single color and change the color of the font, suggestion if you want a black background white font color should be one of the best choice.
(I posted a comment before but somehow it was deleted so im just going to comment again) I think the way you use the white space is good, but the backgrounds that you used which was color effect is not suitable here because you want to do the best for other to see easily. The font you used was pretty well, but the colors of the columns and the title boxes somehow doesn't match with each other. You also need to rearrange the picture so it would look organize. Other than that...well done!!! =)
